About the JMPR Jump Cue
JMPR is built for quick, repeatable airtime. A painted maple core is carbon-reinforced using proprietary construction, then finished with a bold JMPR logo in your choice of red or blue. The handle wears a leather sport wrap for traction at elevation. Hardware uses Radial (3/8-8) threading for the main cue joints, while the extension connects via quick-release, so swapping setups is seconds-fast yet rock solid when assembled.
Dimensions are thoughtfully compact for control: total length about 47.25 inches, with a 29-inch shaft, 18.25-inch butt (or 12 inches without the extension), and a 7.25-inch extension. The slightly conical jump profile favors stiffness so more of your motion turns into clean lift and cue-ball speed, while the about 13.8 mm face keeps center-ball hits simple on tight bridges.
Extras you’ll appreciate: All JFlowers cues ship from Jacksonville, Florida for North America and direct from the factory for international orders (typical transit: US ~4–5 days, International ~7–8 days).
Design Highlights
- Core & finish: Painted maple with carbon-reinforced proprietary construction and a bold JMPR overlay logo in red or blue—clean and high-contrast under clear.
- Grip & control: Leather sport wrap for traction on dart-style mechanics and elevated strokes without over-squeezing the handle.
- Jump format: Three-piece layout—Radial main joints for a solid assemble, plus a quick-release extension for near-table and longer-reach jumps.
- Compact geometry: Total length about 47.25 inches; shaft 29 inches; butt 18.25 inches (or 12 inches without extension); extension 7.25 inches—purpose-built for tight clearances.
Why Choose This Cue
You want jumps that feel repeatable, not miraculous. JMPR’s compact build, traction-forward wrap, Radial main joints, and fast quick-release extension help you set your bridge, aim clean, and clear the blocker with less effort—then land the cue ball where you planned.
Popular FAQs
Q: Red vs. Blue—any difference beyond color?
A: Purely aesthetic. Pick the color that frames the cue ball best in your room lighting and on your cloth.
Q: When should I remove the extension for a jump?
A: For very near obstacles and tight spaces, most players prefer the shorter butt (no extension) for a compact stroke; keep the full butt for longer-reach or higher-elevation jumps.
Q: Does the leather sport wrap change my technique?
A: Your mechanics stay the same—the wrap simply adds traction so you can accelerate without squeezing, which helps keep the stroke straight at elevation.
